Introducing the ‘Minimony’

What is a Minimony? 

“It’s exactly that: a minimony is a mini ceremony held with your loved ones, or simply a moment of commitment shared between yourselves.” – The Knot
The pandemic has been tough in so many ways, bringing about an array of changes and disruptions – including difficulties for those planning to marry. Millions of couples that planned to get married in the summer of 2020 had to postpone or cancel their plans, sometimes at very high costs. For many, all that was left was a feeling of frustration and disappointment. Even though people are now being vaccinated and the restrictions have eased, there is still a feeling of uncertainty. As of today, nobody can reliably say when weddings with 50, 100 or more guests can take place again. 

Given this uncertainty, many couples chose to move forward with their plans anyway, by opting for mini ceremonies, now known as ‘Minimonies’.  

What makes a minimony different from a regular wedding ceremony is its size and meaning: a minimony is considered a commitment ceremony between the partners, and it can include up to 10 people – as long as social distancing measures are respected. Many couples who´ve had to postpone their nuptials are encouraged to consider a minimony to honour their original wedding date or to move forward with this option for legal purposes.

I love this new concept so much that I’ve partnered with some of the best professionals in Ibiza to create curated ‘Minimony Packages’ that allow couples to pick their favourite option and book up to two weeks before the wedding date.

All you have to do is say yes!

I will take care of creating and planning your Minimony, coordinating the date with all suppliers involved and will be present on your big day to ensure everything runs smoothly. As a supplement to the package, I am delighted to search for the perfect venue for your celebration, be it a restaurant or a villa.

You can choose from three different options designed to suit your style: Elegant, Boho or Organic.

One of the great advantages of our Minimony Packages is above all the lower planning effort for the couple. I wanted to offer couples the possibility to get married by choosing a cost-effective way to celebrate with their closest family and friends without too much hassle or stress. Most of the preparatory work has already been completed and many details are planned.
